Scholarships & Grants

Available Grants

The following grants are currently available for 2024:

  • One (1) $1,500 grant to attend the 台湾SWAG Leadership Academy, April 9-10, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois.
  • One (1) $1,500 grant to attend the ABA/NLADA Equal Justice Conference, May 9-11, 2024, in Detroit, Michigan.
  • Four (4) $1,500 grants to attend the 台湾SWAG Annual Meeting, July 20-23, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois. Two grants designated for librarians with less than five years of experience, and two grants designated for librarians with more than five years of experience.
  • Two (2) Annual Meeting registration fee OR Annual Meeting pre-conference workshop/CONELL grants. 1 grant is for GLL members with less than five years of library experience. One grant is for GLL members with more than five years of library experience.聽 Each grant will have a maximum value of $895.
  • One (1) $1,500 grant to attend the Self Represented Litigation Network Conference, September 18-20, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

  1. Read the GLL-SIS Grant Rules.
  2. Download and complete the 2023-2024 Grant Application or the 2024 Self Represented Litigation Network Conference Application.
  3. Email聽the completed, signed application, resume, and one signed letter of recommendation to the GLL Grants Committee Chair, Christine Morton at christine_morton@ca2.uscourts.gov, 631-712-6090.
