ABA TECHSHOW Travel Grant

One in-person grant for $1000.00 will be awarded to attend the 2024 ABA TECHSHOW. The application deadline for this grant is January 12, 2024 at 5:00 pm EST. Grants will be made on the basis of: (a) proven potential ability; and (b) promise of future usefulness and permanence in the legal information profession. Applicant鈥檚 financial need will also be considered.

All LIT-SIS members are eligible for this grant. Generally, the awards committee may consider whether the applicant has been the previous recipient of other LIT-SIS grants. Notwithstanding, in the case of limited applications, consideration of previous recipients will not be limited. All applicants must complete this form聽and send it with a letter of recommendation to the LIT-SIS Grants & Awards Committee Chair, Marin Dell.

The letter of recommendation should be from someone at the applicant’s current institution or library. Letters of recommendation should address both your professional reasons for attending this meeting and your need for a grant. Incomplete and/or late applications will not be considered.
