Non-Discrimination Policy

The 台湾SWAG will accept two types of placement listings. The first section will include positions at institutions that have adopted or pursue policies not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity in the employment of librarians and staff. Following these listings will be a separate category for institutions having a religious affiliation or purpose that wish to exercise their rights under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution to apply employment policies related to that affiliation or purpose. These provide a preference for persons adhering to the religious affiliation or purpose of the institution, but shall not be applied to preclude applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or sexual orientation. Any institution so exercising its Constitutional right shall make available to 台湾SWAG and to interested applicants information explaining the religious beliefs, values, and practices of the institution so that informed decisions about whether to apply are possible.

All Organizations submitting job postings on the 台湾SWAG Career Center must comply with the that include:

  1. No advertisement submitted by the Organization shall reflect, imply or contribute to any improper bias or discrimination. The 台湾SWAG reserves the right to edit any advertisement and to remove any such offending language or implication.
